At Fernanda Bautzer Photography, we recently had the pleasure of capturing a heartwarming Newborn II session with two adorable 20-day-old twin girls. Our studio, located at 231 Yorkville Road SW in Calgary, is designed to provide a serene and comfortable environment for families, ensuring every moment is both enjoyable and memorable.

Session Highlights

Comprehensive Coverage: The Newborn II package offers a full 3-hour studio session for twins, encompassing wrapped and posed shots with two outfit changes. This allows us to capture a diverse range of images, highlighting the twins' unique bond and individual personalities.

Family Inclusion Additional: Understanding the importance of family, this package included photographs with parents and siblings, creating cherished memories of the entire family together for an additional +$54.

Manipulated Images

High-Quality Images:  The family receive a collection of 30 beautifully retouched images, available in both colour and black & white. I also provided some background-edited and manipulated pictures, included only in Package IV.

Special Considerations for Twins

Photographing twins is a unique experience that requires an additional assistant, time and coordination. To ensure the highest quality images, a 50% surcharge is applied to twin sessions, reflecting the extra care involved in posing, editing, and capturing both babies together and individually.

Our recent session with the twin girls was a delightful experience. The studio's extensive selection of props, wraps, and accessories allowed us to create personalized setups that complemented the twins' delicate features. The family particularly appreciated the inclusion of sibling and family portraits, capturing the joy and connection of their growing family.

Booking Information

The optimal time for a newborn session is within the first three weeks. We offer flexible scheduling options from Monday to Sunday, with sessions available at 10 am or 2 pm. While weekend sessions are available at no extra charge, they tend to be more competitive, so early booking is recommended. A booking fee of $50 is due at scheduling and is deducted from the final amount. For twin sessions with family pictures included, the Newborn II package is priced at $594 plus tax, accounting for the additional 50% surcharge.
