Choose your birthday package and share the age, colours and ideas you have in mind. We’ll discuss outfits, available props and anyone joining the photographs.

Come as you are
We prepare the studio and guide you through the photographs. There is time for outfit changes, natural expressions and a break when you need one.

Choose your favourites
Your viewing gallery is posted within 7 days. Select your favourites for retouching; final photographs are delivered within 30 business days after your selection.
Need finished images for invitations or a party? Tell us the deadline before booking. The editing timeline starts after your photo selection; an earlier session date may be needed.

For babies: soft textures, a comfortable fit and an outfit that lets them move. A favourite toy can help them feel at home.
For kids and teens: start with a simple look, then bring an outfit that shows their personality. A hobby item or favourite accessory can make the photographs feel their own.
For adults: consider a dress, tailored separates or a favourite outfit in a coordinated palette. Bring options and we can choose together.
If family portraits are part of your booking, choose complementary colours. Share reference photos before the session so we can plan the styling and setup.

How much is birthday photography in Calgary?
Our First Birthday, Kids & Teens, and Adult Birthday studio sessions are each $324 CAD plus tax for up to two hours. Every age group includes 1 colour / themed setup and 10 edited pictures, delivered digitally in colour and black and white. Family portraits and pets can each be added for $54.
Do you photograph adults as well as children?
Yes. We offer first birthday portraits, birthday sessions for kids and teens, and adult birthday portraits. The styling and posing are planned for the person being photographed, whether you are celebrating a first birthday or a new decade.
What is the difference between First Birthday and Cake Smash?
First Birthday is a portrait session from $324 plus tax with 10 edited images. Cake Smash is $468 plus tax with 20 edited images, family portraits, a styled cake smash and a baby bath. Please bring your own cake for Cake Smash. You can explore the full Cake Smash experience on its dedicated page.
Can we choose the colours or a theme?
Yes. Share your favourite colours and reference photos before the session. We’ll discuss the studio backdrops, props and outfit pieces available and confirm the plan. A specific character, prop or custom set is subject to availability and should be discussed before booking.
Are outfits and props provided?
Studio backdrops and props are available. We also have studio outfit pieces in selected sizes; ask us about options for your child before the session. Bring personal outfits for older children, teens and adults, and any meaningful accessories you would like to include.
Can family members or pets join?
Family portraits can be added to a birthday portrait package for $54, and pets can be added for $54. Let us know who will attend so we can plan the session. Family portraits are already included in the separate Cake Smash package.
What if my child is shy?
We give children time to settle in, use gentle prompts and allow breaks. A familiar toy and a session time that works with their routine can help. You do not need to practise a perfect smile before arriving.
When should we book, and when will the photographs be ready?
Choose your date early if you want a particular weekend or need images for a celebration. Your viewing gallery is posted within 7 days. Final edited images are delivered within 30 business days after you submit your selection. Please tell us any deadline before booking; express editing is available for an additional $108.
Is this a birthday party photography service?
The packages on this page are portrait sessions in our Calgary studio. They focus on the birthday person, with optional family portraits. If you are looking for coverage of a party or a different location, contact us to discuss your needs before choosing a package.
