As a mother of two young children, I understand the importance of capturing every precious moment and milestone in our children's lives. From the first kicks during pregnancy to unforgettable moments like first steps and first birthdays, each memory is a treasure to cherish. However, the newborn phase is definitely my favorite!

I take pride in my journey; I left my career in the design industry to pursue photography back in 2010 in Brazil. After a few years, I opened my first studio in Sao Paulo, and since 2015, I have continued to photograph without pause, even during my ninth month of pregnancy! Moved to Canada few years ago with my Family and all my photography Stuff. After 2 months settled here, launched my Studio! Working with expectant mothers and their little ones brings me immense joy, and I strive to showcase my passion through my work.

With a decade and a half of experience, I’ve mastered the art of capturing newborns in creative and comfortable poses that emphasize their natural beauty. I have photographed more than 1.200 newborns in my life, and combined with my experience as a mom of 2 kids, I am very proud of the expertise I developed with babies and kids.

Professional Studio Environment

I am in my third Studio during my trajectory. Our cozy space at 231 Yorkville Rd, in SW Calgary, is fully equipped with the best and high-end professional lighting, a huge and wide variety of props, fabrics, and decorations of all sorts, and everything needed for a safe and artistic newborn photography session.

How a Newborn Photography Session Works

There is quite a lot that goes into newborn photography, to highlight a few:

  • All about poses and angles. I love to capture from the tiny details to the most posed portrait.
  • Several props and stuff. I take pride in offering a diverse selection of luxury props of various styles. And it's all included!
  • Coloured fabrics or neutral tones, you decide! I offer a wide variety of scenarios and possibilities to meet your preferences.
  • Time is essential; the sooner, the better. I suggest booking the session within 3 weeks from your due date or baby's arrival. 
  • I offer 4 different packages to meet your wishes and suit your budget!
  • Add-ons to make the sessions as customizable as possible, suiting each detail and offering a unique experience.

My goal is to make the photography process as simple and enjoyable as possible. Your experience is just as crucial as getting beautiful photos.

2. The Photoshoot: Relax and Enjoy the Moment

Everything will be ready to bring your dream session to life when you arrive at the Studio.

  • We begin with family and sibling shots, then allow everyone to relax, while we focus on the baby’s individual portraits.
  • Sessions are unrushed, respecting your baby’s time and needs—whether it’s cuddles, feeding, or diaper changes. Don't worry with time!

All you need to do is relax and watch your preciousness!

3. Online Gallery: The Big Reveal

Within 7 days after your session, it’s time for the emotional reveal!

  • You’ll see your pictures for the first time in a personalized online gallery - like these example.
  • You will select your favourite images to be edited and delivered digitally in the highest quality.

Be ready for happy tears as you relive these precious moments.

4. Receive Your Edited Photos: Cherish the Memories

The Poses & Props

With 15 years of experience in newborn photography, I can say I specialize in creating a wide selection of poses. I offer from cozy wrapped sets to the cutest bum-up and chin-up shots, ensuring a pattern but making each session unique. My collection of props includes a number of baskets, buckets, bassinets, and other stuff to add special touches to each photo, and everything is included in the packages! Not forgetting to mention the tiny details shots, my preferred pictures, that make each gallery simply extraordinary, capturing the beauty of your little one in a way that you'll love!

Newborn I Poses

Wrapped + Bucket, Basket & Bassinet + Tiny Details

Wrapped poses are the most versatile option, as they can be combined with various props and offer several different angles and shooting options using the Studio's collection of Buckets, Baskets and Bassinets.

Tiny Details features macro close-ups of the cutest parts of your baby, such as their lips, ears, toes, hands, hair, and any other details that capture your heart!

All these poses and props are included in the Newborn I, our starter package — only suitable for babies under 3 weeks old, and always a great choice!

Newborn II Poses

Posed Shots + Semi-naked

Posed shots are the most desired ones, as they incorporate a variety of angles and styles that enhance the cuteness and highlight your baby’s beauty. These poses can be captured using props, fabrics, or in a semi-nude state.

Newborn II, III and IV include these poses along with all the options from Newborn I. While it requires more effort to shoot, it offers a more sophisticated selection of pictures!

Also, we recommend booking Newborn II or one of our more comprehensive packages for babies older than 3 weeks, as they offer more time and flexibility, along with proper poses for soothing.

How to describe an In-Home Session?
It's peaceful, it's on your time, it's on your way, on your place, your life 100%!
 
Whether you want to showcase your home in the photographs or you’re not ready to come to the studio with your little one—perhaps you're still recovering from a C-section or the weather is particularly harsh—don’t hesitate to request this convenient option! It’s absolutely worth it.
 
I will bring all the necessary equipment to your home, including a selection of props, lighting, supports, and other essential materials to create a stunning photoshoot right in your space. A cozy, inviting atmosphere will be set up to ensure professionalism and capture the beautiful images you desire.
