A first birthday in cream, sage and red
An ivory backdrop, dried grasses and a woven seat set the scene for these first birthday portraits in my Calgary studio. A white outfit with black embroidery gave the opening photographs a striking contrast, with big smiles and a few quiet cuddles with Mum.
We changed the mood with soft sage trousers, a peach backdrop and a little wooden truck, then moved to playful portraits with teddy bears. Matching red-and-white outfits brought Mum back into the frame for the final photographs, from a lifted embrace to a kiss on the top of his head.
