If you’re pregnant right now, everyone keeps telling you the same thing..
“Enjoy every moment.”
And you smile, because you will.
But what no one really tells you is how fast those first days disappear.
One day you’re holding a tiny baby that fits perfectly on your chest, and before you know it, they already look different. Their face changes, their hands open, their expressions shift. And suddenly, those sleepy newborn details are gone.
That’s why newborn photography matters so much to me.
A Calm, Gentle Space for You and Your Baby
Newborn sessions in my studio are slow, quiet, and baby-led. There is no rush, no pressure, and no expectations. We pause for feedings, cuddles, diaper changes, and whatever your baby needs.
You don’t need to “prepare” your baby. You don’t need to worry if they cry. This is normal. This is real life with a newborn, and it’s all part of the process.
My job is to create a calm space where you can breathe, sit back, and trust that your baby is safe and cared for.
Soft Poses, Natural Details, Timeless Images
This session focused on gentle wrapped poses, tiny details, and a soft colour palette that keeps everything clean, timeless, and emotional.
I keep styling simple on purpose. Neutral tones, soft textures, minimal props. Nothing that will feel outdated in a few years. Just your baby, exactly as they are in these first days.
Those little fingers.
That sleepy face.
The way they curl naturally.
These are the details parents miss the most once time moves on.
Family Photos That Feel Real, Not Posed
When parents join the session, I guide gently, but I don’t over-direct. You don’t need to “know how to pose”. I’ll take care of that.
The focus is always connection. The way you hold your baby. The way you look at them. The quiet moments that already feel like love you’ve known forever.
These images often become the ones parents cherish the most.
When Should You Book Your Newborn Session?
The best time to book is during pregnancy. We choose a tentative date around your due date, and once your baby arrives, we adjust everything. Babies don’t follow calendars, and that’s okay.
Sessions are usually done within the first 1–3 weeks, when babies are still very sleepy and comfortable in those curled newborn poses.
This Is More Than Photos
Newborn photography isn’t about perfection.
It’s about remembering how this chapter felt.
The quiet.
The tenderness.
The beginning of everything.
If you’re expecting and thinking about documenting this moment, I’d love to help you do that in a way that feels natural, calm, and meaningful.
