There is something incredibly special about photographing a baby in those very first days of life.

This beautiful Newborn III session was taken back in Winnipeg a few years ago for a very special client. It was filled with soft pink tones, delicate details, and the most peaceful little expressions. Every image tells a quiet story — one of tenderness, warmth, and the beginning of a lifetime.

The Beauty of Soft, Feminine Tones

For this session, we explored a palette of muted blush pinks paired with sage and warm wood textures. The combination created a timeless and organic feel — gentle, but never overwhelming.

From wrapped poses in a wooden prop to minimalist setups on a soft sage backdrop, each look was carefully styled to highlight the baby’s delicate features without distraction.

The goal is always the same: simplicity that allows your baby to be the true focus.

Every session takes place in my professional studio in SW Calgary, where the space is fully prepared for baby’s comfort — warm temperature, sanitized props, and extra time built into the schedule for feeding and soothing.

Newborn sessions are never rushed. They unfold naturally.
