How the Mini Session works

We’ve made the whole experience enjoyable and straightforward, from booking to your final gallery!

1. Book Online
Choose your preferred date on our calendar and pay the $50 booking fee securely by credit card to reserve your spot.

2. Prepare Your Outfits
After booking, you’ll receive a full preparation guide with outfit inspiration and tips to coordinate your family’s look perfectly for the holiday theme.

3. Photoshoot Day
Come to our cozy studio at 231 Yorkville Rd SW, Calgary, and enjoy a relaxed, fun photoshoot experience. We’ll guide you through poses while keeping everything lighthearted and natural.

4. Gallery Ready in 7 Days
Within 7 business days, you’ll receive your private online gallery to preview all the best images from your session.

5. Select Your Favourites
Choose your favourite images for professional retouching directly from the gallery—extra pictures can be added if you fall in love with more!

6. Final Delivery
Your fully edited pictures will be delivered digitally within 7 business days after your selection, beautifully retouched in both colour and black & white versions.

Some Outfit Tips

To help you get the most out of your session, I’ve put together some outfit and styling tips that photograph beautifully and ensure your images feel timeless, festive, and full of heart.

Choose a Colour Palette That Works Together

For holiday sessions, I recommend sticking to 2-4 complementary tones that tie everyone’s outfits together. Some of my favourite palettes are:

Classic & Elegant: Cream, beige, and ivory paired with denim for a clean, natural look.

Holiday’s Tones: Plaids, earthy browns, deep reds, forest greens, and cozy knits for a warm, festive feel.

Formal Attire: Elegant dresses, tailored shirts, or blazers in neutral or jewel tones for a refined holiday style.

Holiday Pajamas: Matching family sets for a fun, cozy, and heartwarming touch.

When everyone’s look fits within the same colour story, the final result feels polished and connected while still letting each person’s personality shine.
