A Blush Pink, Lilac and Cherry Blossoms Newborn I Session in Calgary
Gris's baby girl spent her whole Newborn I session on a soft blush backdrop. She started in a simple white wrap with a tiny lace headband, and the first frames are the ones we always hope for — a cheek resting on her own hand, a half-smile somewhere deep in a dream.
Then the styling turned lilac. Cherry blossom branches, a single daisy tucked into her fingers and a small grey bunny gave the middle of the gallery its colour, and she stayed awake for a good part of it, watching the room with those brand-new eyes.
We finished in blush again: a ruffled bonnet, a heart-shaped bowl, and finally a little rattan chair dressed in roses on a warm wood floor, where she settled back to sleep with her hands under her chin.
