A Pink Balloons, Tulle and Bubbles Smash the Cake Session in Calgary
Yumna's little girl turned ONE in a room full of pink. We opened with a blush tulle dress and a flower crown, white ONE letters, a giant foil number one and a drift of pink and white balloons — and she posed like she had done this before.
Mum and dad came in for the family set, and then we brought out the cake. A pink balloon wall, a cream lace dress, one small white cake, and a few minutes later she had worked out exactly what the day was for.
The session finished in a galvanized tub with warm water and dried pink flowers — arms straight up in the air, thoroughly pleased with herself. The bath is always the best last frame of a cake smash.
