A fairy-tale first birthday with cake and family portraits
Red bows, blue balloons and a bright yellow skirt brought a fairy-tale feel to this first birthday Cake Smash at my Calgary studio. A pale blue backdrop, little woodland details and a white birthday cake completed the setting.
We began with portraits in the birthday outfit and photographs together with the family. Then came the cake: tiny fingers in the frosting, curious looks and a little taste of something sweet. Close-up portraits and wider views kept both the small expressions and the full setup in the story.
If you are planning your baby’s first birthday photographs, we can discuss a colour palette and setup you love. Explore the Cake Smash sessions below, then get in touch to reserve a date at my SW Calgary studio.
