Where are family photography sessions held in Calgary?

Family sessions are available at our professional studio at 231 Yorkville Road SW, Calgary, or as in-home lifestyle sessions. Studio sessions offer a controlled, timeless look, while in-home sessions capture your family in a natural, relaxed setting.

How do I prepare my family for a photo session?

We provide a full outfit and preparation guide after booking. Generally, we recommend coordinated but not matching outfits, bringing snacks for young children, and arriving relaxed — we handle all the posing and direction. There's no pressure and lots of fun.

Can newborns and older siblings be in the same session?

Absolutely — this is one of our most popular combinations. We photograph the newborn first while they're sleepy, then bring in siblings and parents for family portraits. Sibling and family shots are included in our newborn packages at no extra charge.

The Family Session is designed to capture the unique moments of your family and can be arranged in your home, the studio, or at outdoor locations such as public parks or private spaces of your choice.

20 beautifully retouched images
Both coloured and black & white
Family & Friends, up to 10 people

And you will also receive a full watermarked raw gallery viewing as well!

Observations

Family sessions best suit groups of up to 10 people and can be scheduled from Monday to Sunday, accordingly to meet your expectations. Please reserve your due date to ensure I have availability.

After the photoshoot, I'll upload a gallery with all the images onto my system within seven business days, and you can choose your preferred selection according to your package. Once you've made your choice on the system, I'll get to work on editing your photographs, and you can expect them to be delivered within 30 business days.

Add-ons:

$18 per extra edited picture added to the selection.

In-home sessions or Outdoor sessions have no additional cost as accessories are not required.

You can bundle Studio + In-home or Outdoor for an extra $108

Travel fees of $0.60/km will apply to In-home Sessions to all locations that exceed 50 km of travel round trip from the Studio at 231 Yorkville Rd, SW Calgary
