Yes — this season passes in a blink. Maternity portraits let you hold on to the feeling of these weeks: the anticipation, the bond, the way you carried your baby before you ever met them. Years from now, they become some of the most meaningful images your family owns.

Absolutely. Every pregnancy is its own story, and your older children are part of it. A session now captures your growing family exactly as it is today — something you'll treasure just as much as the first time.

You're in good company — most moms say this. My job is to guide you into flattering poses and angles so you're never left wondering what to do, in a relaxed space where you can simply be. Almost everyone is surprised by how beautiful and like-themselves they look.

Completely normal, and exactly why I guide every moment. Most moms relax within the first few minutes and are amazed at how natural it feels.

Not at all. These photos aren't about looking perfect — they honour a profound chapter of your life and the love already surrounding your baby. They're a gift to your future self and to your child.

It's the perfect time. Planning ahead means we can reserve your ideal week and have everything ready, so all you do is show up and enjoy. Booking during pregnancy also lets us coordinate your maternity and newborn sessions together if you'd like.

Between 28 and 34 weeks is the sweet spot — your bump is beautifully round, you still have good energy, and there's plenty of time to deliver and plan a newborn session afterwards. I recommend booking by 20 weeks to secure your preferred date.

As early as you can — ideally in the first or second trimester. Popular dates fill quickly, weekends very quickly, and booking early gives us time to plan your wardrobe and coordinate a maternity + newborn session if you'd like.

Reach out and we'll make it work. Even at 36 or 37 weeks a short studio session is usually possible — just let me know your due date and I'll see what we can do.

It happens, and that's okay. If you go into labour before your session, we can pivot to a newborn session — or both — when you're ready and feeling well.

You can book online on this page. We'll choose your session type, confirm your week, and I'll send a booking agreement and invoice. A retainer of $50 confirms your date, and payment plans are available if you'd like to spread the balance before your session.

I have a large studio wardrobe of maternity gowns in a wide range of colours, styles, and sizes — flowing, fitted, lace, velvet, sheer. We'll choose together based on your preferences and the look you're going for. No need to bring anything unless you have a piece that's meaningful to you.

Not at all. Everything you need is here in the studio. My wardrobe is included in the session, and we can switch outfits as many times as you'd like.

Hair and makeup are not included in the session fee, but I do have a partnership with Sephora for professional makeup services before your maternity session. It totally worth it!

Many clients choose to add makeup to their experience, as it’s a beautiful way to feel confident, pampered, and photo-ready before we start. For hair, I’m also happy to recommend talented artists who specialize in maternity sessions.

No posing experience needed. I'll guide you through every position — where to put your hands, how to stand, how to angle your body. You just need to show up.

We start with a wardrobe consultation — I'll pull a selection of gowns and we'll choose together what feels right. Then we shoot, changing outfits and settings as we go. Sessions are relaxed and unhurried. At the end, you'll receive your online gallery where you can go through your images and select your favourites to be edited and delivered.

Most maternity sessions take about 1 to 3 hours — enough time to relax, change between gowns, and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. It depends mostly on the package chosen.

Absolutely — family and partner poses are a favourite and are included from package II onwards. If you'd like to include your little ones or furry family members, just let me know and we'll plan it into the session and how to match outfits.

Both are beautiful and both are available. Studio sessions give you full control over lighting and atmosphere — no weather worries, lush backdrops, and the studio wardrobe. Outdoor sessions capture your location and the natural world around you. We can do both in one session if you'd like.

We'll reschedule — no fees, no fuss. I monitor the forecast and will reach out in advance if conditions look poor. Your session will be rebooked at your convenience.

Sessions start at $324. Each package includes a set number of edited digital images; additional images can be added. I'd be happy to walk you through the options during a complimentary consultation.

Every session includes the studio wardrobe, professional lighting, full guidance and posing direction, and a post-session gallery reveal where you'll choose your favourite images together.

Yes — every session includes 2 galleries: first, a private proofing gallery with your raw images in web resolution, with a small watermark in the bottom corner of each image. Then your final edited gallery, with the selected favourites edited in high resolution. You will be able to download both.

You can add more edited images, fine art prints, wall art, albums, and a maternity + newborn bundle. We'll go through the options at your gallery reveal.

Yes — the Bundle Package combines your maternity and newborn sessions with a 10% saving and 10 additional edited images included as a bonus.

Your online proofing gallery will be ready within the week of your session. You will have some time for reviewing and submitting your favourites. Final edited pictures will be ready within 30 business days, usually way before. 

Digital images only for now — I'm currently evaluating print suppliers. Prints, albums, and wall art are coming in late 2027. In the meantime, your downloaded images can be printed at any professional lab.
