A Lilac Fur, Cream and Half Way to One Milestones II Session in Calgary
Shenee's little girl arrived at the studio already halfway to one, and she smiled at almost everything. We started her on a deep lilac fur in a dusty pink ruffled romper with a matching bow — up on her elbows, chin high, thoroughly pleased with herself.
The second setup went soft and neutral: cream fur, a cream cotton outfit with tiny embroidered flowers and an oatmeal bow. Then came the HALF WAY TO ONE backdrop with dried pampas, a tulle skirt and a scatter of blooms — the frames she will want to see when she is older.
Mum and dad closed the session out. Six months is the age where everything is a game, and you can see it in every one of those family portraits.
