How Much You Actually Save With a Maternity + Newborn Bundle in Calgary

The Individual Pricing
Maternity sessions at my studio start from $288 + GST (Studio Essential) through to $720 + GST (Luxury).
Newborn sessions start from $324 + GST (Wrapped Session) through to $720 + GST (Full Session).
If you were to book both a mid-tier maternity session and a mid-tier newborn session separately, you'd be looking at a combined investment in the range of $700–$1,100 before GST, depending on your package selections.
The Bundle Saving
When you book both sessions together as a bundle, you save $108 off the combined total.
That's not a token discount. $108 is the equivalent of:
- 6 additional edited photos from your gallery
- Express delivery turnaround on one session
- The pet add-on for both sessions
- Or simply: $108 back in your pocket at a time of year when expenses are real
The Non-Financial Value
The $108 saving is real. But what I think has even more value is the peace of mind that comes from knowing your newborn date is reserved.
Newborn photography windows are 3–21 days. Professional calendars fill months ahead. Families who haven't booked during pregnancy frequently can't get their preferred photographer in time.
When you book the bundle during your pregnancy, your newborn spot is protected. No scrambling at Day 7. No settling for someone you didn't choose.
That is worth significantly more than $108.
