A baby's first birthday is a special milestone, and there's nothing better than capturing this moment with an explosion of cuteness, colors, and... cake! Yes, we're talking about the beloved "Smash the Cake," the photo shoot that has won the hearts of many families.

But what is Smash the Cake?
It's simple: we place the baby in front of a beautiful, colorful cake, and let them explore, play, smash (and, of course, taste!) it however they want. The result? Spontaneous, fun, and personality-filled photos. Each click captures a new expression of surprise, joy, and curiosity. 

More than a photo shoot, Smash the Cake is a symbolic and playful way to celebrate the arrival of the first year of life. After so many months of growth, discoveries, and love, this moment represents the baby's freedom to explore the world in their own way.

In this session, baby will first pose with parents and then start having fun making a mess with the cake and fruit. There is even a bathtub waiting for them. This session is quiet for parents. Let baby enjoy it and be sure to capture the chaos and joy of your baby's first year of life with a fun and creative Cake Smash photo!

In the studio, I will provide a variety of outfits and decorations to create the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable moment. You do not need to bring any decor.

Observations


Smash the Cake sessions are primarily designed for your child's first birthday, but can be held anytime between 6 and 18 months. They can be scheduled Monday through Sunday at 10am or 2pm.

I do not deliver the cake due to personal differences regarding sugar, ingredients, and/or allergies.

After the photo shoot, I will send you a few of the best photos within 7 business days for you to take a look at. I will then upload a gallery of all the images to my system within 7 business days, and you can choose your preferred selection based on your package. Once you have made your selection in the system, I will begin editing your photos, and you can expect them to be delivered within 30 business days.

Add-ons:

R$18 per additional edited photo added to the selection.

I offer this session in the Studio only.

Travel fees of $0.60/km will apply to in-person sessions for all locations exceeding 50km round trip from the Studio on Lanark St.
