Cream, grey and family embraces

Soft grey blankets, a cream knitted cap and a tiny teddy bear kept the focus on baby during this newborn session in my Calgary studio. Sleepy expressions, little hands tucked beneath the chin and a few wide-eyed moments gave each portrait its own character.

Mum joined baby for cuddles on the sofa and softly backlit portraits. Family members also stepped in for photographs together, adding more loving embraces to the gallery. We finished with gentle green textures, a cream bonnet and a little blue bear outfit.
