Option 1: The Classic Studio Cake Smash
The full three-part experience: clean birthday portraits, the smash, the bubble bath. Everything provided. Custom theme. Your choice of package depth.
Best for: families who want the complete, styled first birthday gallery. Regardless of season — the studio is available and beautiful year-round.
Option 2: Classic Milestone Portraits (Without the Smash)
A beautifully styled portrait session — no cake, no mess. Baby in a stunning setup with props and backdrop, capturing the personality of one-year-old. Family portraits included.
Best for: families who want elevated, timeless portraits for walls and albums. Or babies who might find the cake smash overwhelming.
Option 3: Classic Portraits + Cake Smash
Start with the milestone portraits, then bring in the cake for the smash section. The gallery has both — the formal portraits and the joyful chaos.
Best for: families who want maximum variety in their gallery. This is our most popular first birthday option.
Option 4: Outdoor Milestone Session in Calgary
For summer birthday babies (May–September), an outdoor session at one of Calgary's beautiful park locations adds a natural backdrop to the birthday portraits. Fish Creek Provincial Park, Confederation Park, and Prince's Island Park are all beautiful at golden hour for a June or July birthday.
Best for: families who love the natural light, outdoor aesthetic and whose birthday falls in a season that allows it.
Option 5: In-Home Lifestyle First Birthday
The most intimate option — celebrating in your home, in the nursery, in the space where this whole first year happened. No studio, no structured setup — just your family, your home, and me documenting the real celebration.
Best for: families who love lifestyle photography and want the birthday to feel authentic and personal.
